Alaska is a veritable bird heaven...

...or more acurately, 'Haven'. Alaska provides over 130 million acres of national wildlife refuges and parklands to protect the various bird species that migrate to its wetlands and forests.  These areas provide an abundant buffet of berries, fish, seeds, invertebrates and more to sustain them through their mating and nesting habitats.

Approximately 1.2 million birds migrate through Alaska during our summer months providing ample opportunities for bird watchers and enthusiasts to capture them on film.
