YELLOW RUMPED WARBLER
Yellow Rumped Warblers flood the continent each fall, filling shrubs and trees with their brown and yellow streaked bodies.

They are impressive with their numbers as well as their bold spring coloring of  bright yellow, charcoal gray/black and bold white (females may show a little brown).

Yellow Rumped Warblers are birds of open coniferous forests and some deciduous forests. In fall and winter they migrate to more open wooded areas with shrubby habitats like parks and residential areas.  They feed on insects as well as berries.
